Welcome to the web site of National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Central Library.The web site contains the link to the resources of library as well as peer reviewed information available openly. The link to library online catalogue is provided where users can search the databases for books (print+online), thesis, CDs/DVDs etc.

Users can log in their account where they can renew the issued books (if not reserved), reserve the already issued books along with other facilities.Subscribed online resources (journals, databases etc) are arranged alphabetically, subject wise for convenience in locating.For any information regarding the library help desk is provided.

NISER Library connects people with information by providing diverse resources and services to the academic and researcher communities.NISER Library develops and maintains a broad array of information resources, including e-journal subscriptions, digital repositories and specialized collections crossing subjects.

1. Books (Print): Library houses around 22,816 books in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Humanities, Earth & Planetary Science and other interdisciplinary areas.
2. Journals: Library subscribes around 3,765 journals in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Humanities, Earth & Planetary Science and other interdisciplinary areas mostly in electronic version.
