Email will be sent to all candidates in the merit list for collecting Expression of Interest (EoI) for joining five-year Integrated MSc program at NISER Bhubaneswar. (Email will be sent ONLY to the email address used for NEST 2023 registration). Please note that the EoI collected by NISER is ONLY for admissions to NISER.

18th July 2023

Last date for filling EOI form.

Interested candidates MUST fill the EoI form before 06:00 PM on 18th July 2023.

FAILING TO FILL THE EOI FORM WITHIN DEADLINE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS "NOT INTERESTED" AND CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE ADMISSION PROCESS.

Admission queue - prepared from the EoI list - will be uploaded on admission web page of NISER.

Email will be sent to candidates based on merit from the admission queue to participate in the 1st round of admission. The email will contain a link to fill-up the admission form online and pay admission fees through State Bank of India SB Collect.(admission fees collected will be returned ONLY in/after the month of JANUARY, 2024 if one does not appear for taking admission or if one chooses to withdraw admission after taking admission in one of the admission rounds)

1st round Admission

The invited candidates are required to report in person at NISER campus, Jatani by 9:00 AM on 28st JULY 2023.

CANDIDATES FAILING TO REPORT BY THE ABOVE SPECIFIED TIME WOULD FORFEIT THEIR SEAT. CANDIDATES WHO FORFEIT THEIR SEAT IN THE FIRST ROUND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IN ANY SUBSEQUENT ROUND.

  1. The candidates must bring the original docs/certificates for verification along with the hard copy of the filled in admission form. For the required documents, refer to this website.
  2. The first-round admission queue will be prepared based on merit among the candidate reporting in person by 9:00 AM on 28st JULY 2023.
  3. Admission will be offered purely based on the merit list in the 1st round admission queue (only to those present at the admissions venue on 28 JULY 2023) and will continue till all the seats are filled or the 1st round admission queue is exhausted.
  4. The candidates who do not get an admission on 28 JULY 2023, will be asked to get their docs/certificates verified on the same day. Waiting list of these candidates will be prepared category wise for admission against vacancies arising against withdrawals. These candidates are not required to report in person again for admission.

Candidates must report at NISER campus by 14 SEPTEMBER 2023 for the registration for the courses. The classes will start from 18 SEPTEMBER 2023.

  • Invitations for the final round of admissions for the vacant seats in the unreserved category available by September 14 evening are sent to the candidates by email. Those who received the email invitation for the final round of admissions and are interested in taking admission into the Int. MSc program should report at NISER, Bhubaneswar, by 10:30 AM.

  • Admissions will be offered to fill the vacant seats (as available on 22 September 2023, FRIDAY) based on the merit list of ranks prepared of all the students who gave attendance on that day by 10:45 AM.

  • Please refer to the email invitation for the admission round for details on the documents to be produced and admission fee payment after admission is offered.

  • Please note that receiving an email invitation for the admission round or attending the admissions process on 22 September 2023 does not guarantee admission - admissions will be done ONLY BASED ON THE MERIT LIST (NEST 2023 rank) of all the students reported at the admissions venue in NISER by 10:30 AM on 22 September, until all the seats are filled. NO WAITLIST WILL BE PREPARED in this round of admissions. The last general rank called for admission in this round is 750.

  • Third and final round of admissions (only for vacancies available in unreserved seats) - Email invitations are sent to the students for filling out admission forms and uploading required documents (soft copies) online before 5:00 PM, 8 September 2023

  • Second-round admissions are complete. Those who filled out the admission forms and uploaded copies of the required documents but were not offered admission in this round are put on the waitlist in the respective categories. Please visit the 'Waitlisted candidates' page to check the waitlist status.

  • Second round of admissions (only for vacancies available in SC-category reserved seats and J&K-category reserved seats)

  • Emails invitations are sent to the students invited for the second round admissions. Due date for online form submission is 5:00 PM, 25 August 2023 (next Friday).

  • Admission queue for 1st round of admission scheduled on 28th July 2023 has been uploaded in the admission web site.

  • Emails to all the candidates in the admission queue for 1st round of admission have been sent. Candidates are requested to check their spam folder if not received in the inbox.
