HBNI interaction meeting in Chemical Sciences

With great pleasure, we would like to inform you that the 1st HBNI interaction meeting in Chemical Sciences is being organized at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, during 18-20 January 2023, by the School of Chemical Sciences.
The discussion meeting aims to bring together colleagues working in the different areas of chemistry in the DAE units (such as BARC Mumbai, IGCAR-Kalpakkam, SINP-Kolkata, and HBNI - Central office) and promote interaction. In addition, the meeting is aimed to initiate several collaborative programs among the faculties, scientists, and students with expertise in different research areas within the DAE units.

About Us

The School of Chemical Sciences at NISER aims to impart high quality undergraduate and postgraduate level of knowledge to students coupled with cutting edge research activity by the faculty and the students of the school. In addition to traditional organic, inorganic, physical, and theoretical chemistry areas, the school embarks on teaching and research activity in the interface areas of biology, material sciences, and medicine. The school offers one of the best integrated M. Sc. programme in the country and the syllabus is designed not only to teach basic principles but also to have hands on practical experience by doing research projects as a part of the curriculum. The School of Chemical Sciences also offers integrated Ph.D., regular Ph.D., and post-doctoral fellowship programmes in various research areas of chemistry.
