Supersymmetry (SUSY) is a novel symmetry relating bosons and fermions. If this symmetry is realised in nature then for every known elementary fermion (boson) there should be a yet to be observed boson (fermion). The lightest supersymmetric particle can potentially explain the observed dark matter in the universe. The search for the supersymmetric partners of the commonly known particles is a top priority program in the list of the on going experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) where many Indian physicists and engineers including physicists from NISER have been participating. In this talk SUSY phenomenology will be briefly reviewed.
