About Central Library
Since its inception in 2007, the NISER Library has fulfilled its information requirements by curating specialized science and technology literature. As a cornerstone for academic and research endeavors at NISER, it remains an invaluable resource hub for the scholarly community.
Membership
Newly admitted students are promptly provided access to library facilities upon joining the Institute and are requested to fill out a membership form for administrative purposes. Your Institute ID card doubles as your library card, guaranteeing hassle-free access to our wealth of resources.
Collection & Resources
Enriching the user experience, the library provides access to an extensive array of resources, boasting over 11,000 full-text electronic journals, 10,000 electronic books, and more than 30 electronic databases.
Services
The library provides a variety of services to its patrons, including New Arrivals, Remote Access, User Guides, Subject Guides, User Awareness Programs, Document Delivery Services (DDS), and various other services.
Borrowing Entitlements

Online Catalog
The library employs the DDC system to organize and classify all books. OPAC is a versatile tool for finding materials like printed books, eBooks, theses, and dissertations, facilitating borrowing, returns, renewals, and other services.
